Program Planning Worksheets

Students can access a Program Planning worksheet on our website, to help guide them through the process of selecting their courses for next year

Program Planning Parent Information Evening on TEAMS (virtual)

Counsellors will host a Program Planning Information session for parents, virtually on TEAMS, and share out relevant information for parents with children who are currently in Grade 8-11. Links will be sent out to all parents on January 15th.

Program Planning Portal Opens

Students can log in to MyEdBC and select their courses

February 5-6

Grade 8 Support Sessions

Grade 8 Program Planning support sessions will be offered, as our grade 8’s navigate program planning for the first time. Information will be communicated out via email.

January 17-Feburary 18

Students, please reach out to your teachers, counsellor or the office if you have any questions or need help with this process!

February 18

Program Planning Portal Closes

Last day for students to log in to MyEdBC and select their courses (or make any changes to their initial course selections)

April 1

Students will Receive Course Verifications

Students will receive a course verification email confirming the courses they have chosen during the course selection process. Students may request any final course changes via an MS TEAMS form that will be emailed out to them on the same date.

April 3

Deadline for Students to Submit any Course Change Requests

Students Submit any course change requests via the MS TEAMS form

June 9

School Schedules for Next School Year

Students will receive their school schedules for next year by the end of June – these will be communicated out via email. Student will just see the courses they have selected and the semesters that these courses are scheduled in. They will not see teachers or room numbers on this schedule.

September 3

New School Year and Schedules

Students will start the new school year with their new schedules, as posted on MyEdBC.

September 5

Deadline for Course Changes

Students will have 3 days, after the start of classes, to request any changes to their courses. Course change requests will be done via MS Teams form.
