District Authority Scholarships Information (you will need SD38 credentials to login and submit):
Criteria determined by the student’s local scholarship committee (as per the Ministry of Education).
Application may be by teacher nomination directly to student OR by student (or self) nomination:
- (APLSK) Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies (e.g., Business, Home Economics - Textiles, Technology/Media Arts)
- (FINE) Fine Arts (e.g., Drama, Music, Visual Arts)
- (LNG) Languages from the Languages Curriculum
- (TRADES) Technical and Trades Training (e.g., Coding, Culinary Arts, Mechanics, Robotics, Woodwork)
- (INDLC) Indigenous Languages and Culture, demonstrated at school or in the community
- (PHYSAC) Physical Activity (and Health) (e.g., Athletics, Dance, Gymnastics)
- (COMSERV) Community Service (Volunteer Activity), which includes awareness of local, global, and cultural issues
