Career Exploration
Are you unsure with what to do with your life after high school? If you find yourself in that place of uncertainty, that’s OK! There are career assessments designed to help you explore your options and help you find answers. I have listed below some useful links that will help begin this exploration process. The Holland Code self-assessment examines your suitability with different careers based on six occupational themes: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. This assessment identifies your top interest areas and how they compare to the other theme areas, and what this means for your career interests.

myBlueprint – This web application will help you with your Career Education journey. Students you should be introduced to this website in CLE 10.
Getting Started:
1. Visit www.myBlueprint.ca/sd38
2. Click to Sign Up
3. Select SLSS from the drop-down menu and click Create Account
4. When prompted to select your account type, click on Student, select your grade, and click Continue
5. Enter your Education Number (PEN number) and Personal Info, and click Continue
6. Enter the Account Info and agree to the Terms of Use and Private policy Click Continue.
