The district has updated the Volunteer Driver form.

This will be important when volunteer drivers are needed for field trips or as transportation to team games.

We do not need to re-do any of the forms currently active for this school year,(they are good until June 30, 2026) but GOING FORWARD, for any new volunteer drivers we will be following the updated requirements/form. Attached is the new form and the information for volunteers to follow to initiate a criminal records check for your information.

The new form comes with some new steps.

Volunteers will need to submit a Criminal Records check.  They are now required to complete the online information (free) and then either email or bring to the office confirmation of this submission.

Apparently, the online submission takes less than 5 minutes.  If we have volunteer drivers come to the front counter to ask to sign a volunteer driver form, they will need to do the entry of the RCMP records check at that time.
