Modern Languages Placement Evaluations:

The Modern Languages department will be conducting placement evaluations on:

Wednesday February 21 during PLT time.

These evaluations are for students who have prior knowledge of a language, this may include taking outside language courses, living in a country where the language is spoken, or speaking the language at home.  This is not for students who are taking regular language courses at Steveston-London. 

Students should be prepared to complete a placement assessment or have a conversation with the teacher to determine their appropriate language level for next year. 

If this applies to you, please sign up for PLT time for February 21 with the appropriate teacher.

PLT 1 at 8:30am

French – Mrs. Munk

Mandarin – Mrs. Gofsky

Japanese – Mrs. Sybounmy

PLT 2 at 9:20am

Spanish – Ms. O’Neill

If students have taken a formal course in the language, please bring all documentation.

Placements will be for next year.
