Job Skill Workshop Opportunity for Youth: TD Bank and PNE

Hello Everyone, 

We’re excited to share a fantastic opportunity for the youth in your network! Our TD Youth Accessibility Job Skills Workshop Series is a five-week program designed to equip youth between 13 and 18 years oldwith valuable work skills while offering a behind-the-scenes look at the PNE. 

 

About the Workshop Series

Each week, participants will explore different aspects of working at the PNE, including: 

Creating a Great Guest Experience at Playland & Fright Nights 

Fairs, Festivals and Event Production 

Behind the Scenes at the Coliseum  

Facilities & Maintenance: What It Takes to Keep the PNE Running 

 …and more! 

Along with gaining insights into the amusement park and entertainment world, youth will receive budget and finance tips from TD Bank to help build practical skills. 

Bonus: Youth who attend all five sessions will receive two complimentary ThrillSeeker passes for Playland 2025! 

 

Details: 

When: Tuesdays, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM, from April 22nd to May 20th 

Where: Various locations on the PNE/Hastings Park grounds 

Dinner: Provided at each session! 

 

This is a great chance for youth to develop job-readiness skills while learning about the exciting world of entertainment. If you know any students who would benefit from this program, please encourage them to apply by following the instructions below.  

 

How to Apply: Youth can apply until Sunday, March 30 

To apply, we’re asking interested applicants to write a short bio about themselves and tell us why they want to attend—they are encouraged to share a little about who they are, what they enjoy, and why they’re interested in this opportunity.

At the top of the email, applicants must include their full name, email and phone number, which school they attend, and what grade they are in.
