The Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of British Columbia on Saturday, June 20 at 1:00 PM.  A message is read for each grad as he/she walks across the stage during this formal school ceremony.

Grads are responsible for writing and submitting their own 40-WORD (maximum) write-up.  Please be classy and use formal English.  Here are some examples:

        Matilda will cherish the friendships she made at Steveston-London.  She thanks her teachers, coaches
         and, especially her family for their love and support.  Matilda will be attending Kwantlen Polytechnic 
         Univeristy next year and wishes all the best to the Sharks of 2020!

        Gerald loved his time at Steveston-London and is proud to be part of the Sharks graduating class. 
         He thanks his Dad and sister for all their love and is looking forward to travelling to Spain and
         Germany next year.

        Jeff is happy to be crossing the stage after his most excellent five year adventure.  He thanks Mr. Allan
         for his many inspiring talks in the classroom.  Jeff’s future plans include being a famous Geography
         teacher or owning a Starbucks franchise.
